Adrian taught English, History and Drama, Years 7-12, for 24 years during which he produced and directed yearly School Variety Nights and Plays. Currently, Adrian teaches as a Casual/Relief Teacher. Prior to teaching, he ran his own retail business with his wife and was a Commonwealth Public Servant and House of Representatives Parliamentary Officer. Adrian has written, produced, directed and acted in Short films as well as in live theatre.

Hollywood’s PAGE International Screenwriting Awards, placed the Don’t Smile Till Easter screenplay as one of the top 10 Drama Screenplays in those Awards. Veteran Australian Producer David Hannay (RIP) – see http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0360362/ – twice optioned Don’t Smile Till Easter for production.

Rob’s career as a professional actor and director includes:

FILM: Newsfront, Strikebound, Breaker Morant and Muriel’s Wedding.
TELEVISION: True Believers, A Country Practice, Prisoner, G.P., Home and Away.
THEATRE: As You Like It, Summer of the Seventeenth Doll, Glen Garry Glenross.
THEATRE-DIRECTED: The Club, Jack, and The Old Familiar Juice.

Rob has also worked in the capacity of Producer and Director on many short films and features including Lost, the Untold Story and The Locked Off Shot. Rob was the inaugural Artistic Director of the community-based Binalong Players and directed their plays for some two decades. Rob’s experience as an Actor was invaluable in redrafting and honing the Don’t Smile Till Easter Screenplay. Rob passed away on 14 May 2022.
